When we arrived, the staff said our booking was not on the list! Then said maybe we booked at the opposite area of the hotel that is across the road...from where we were, but . There were 3 cockroaches in our bedroom and they were huge!

A 2* for retails. MICE, maybe 3*-4*.
Location close to the beach might be the only thing I like about the hotel, if I hadn't learned later that the working staffs are nice, but they are not allowed to service the guests.
We called ahead regarding the hotel details, we were told to book through agents.
We then booked a villa, but there is an outdoor wedding (with decent sound device & karaoke) right outside the room. We were offered a downgrade to a much cheaper room, with no refund. Spent a few hours argued with the manager, we accepted a downgrade with a small cash refund, as if we get the rack rate for the downgraded room. The hotel even asked us to compensate the commission they paid to Expedia.
For the breakfast, it is average for a 2.5*-3* hotel, for a normal customer like myself.
The room is quite big, but could be full of mosquitoes.
Parking is also horrible-- only small spaces in front of the hotel.
Despite the bad impression, I really think maybe the hotel would target a corporate event rather than retail guests. It has the facilities, locations, capabilities, and maybe services, you would ask for to organize an event, but for a retail guest like myself, feeling of a greedy and ignorance hotel is what to expect.
At first, I am not sure if this resort is good or bad because there are mixed opinion in comments.
But when I arrived at this place, I felt I underestimated it from the review!
Very nice lobby with enthusiastic staffs are waiting for you, also there is a welcome drink.
Overall building is new and clean even there was a sand on the floor in some area,
but it's alright since there is a beach access for this place. The seaside view is quite good too.
I have booked executive room for me and my girlfriend, it is sooooo spacious and comfortable!
Great restaurant is included with a pack of delicious seafood and breakfast course!
The most DO-NOT-MISS thing in this the salt-system pool with Jacuzzi that let you relax your tired day.

Fancy Name is Misleading-Disappointing Experience
This hotel fell well below area competition for amenities and comfort.
We forfeited one-night to move to more pleasant accommodations.
Room B202 had no wall hangings, bed decorations, comfort chairs, or deck chairs - thus inconsistent with website images. Housekeeping had missed splatters on walls, water spots on glass surfaces, and the plumbing fixtures are poorly selected or not functioning well. (large head at toilet spray, small head at shower sprays sideways. Housekeeping CANNOT have missed these things.) Furnishings felt like Index Mall, and bulk price vs. quality purchases
Normal amenities for these "Resort" class hotels includes pool towels, pool/beach service, shaded areas around beach or pool, none of which were available at Saint Tropez Beach Resort. Views were obstructed by the over-planting of palms and New Years celebration stage remained up well after the holiday. Parking is limited and the trash is piled up at the street every night leaving large quantities of odorous discharge to walk through on the sidewalk and street coming from parking IN the street lane.
This staff is not well-trained and is certainly not ready for customers who expect larger-resort performance.
