"I couldn't say enough good things about The Cubes Ella. We had originally planned to stay for one night, but ended up extending to three as we loved it so much. The rooms are spacious, with nice design touches and extremely comfortable beds. The breakfast options are delicious and the service is excellent. The staff really makes the place, we felt so well looked after. A few shout-outs for the people who made our stay special: Rishard, the Manager, who is always up for a chat and makes sure you're happy; Primal, the Chef who's also a guide and can arrange many things (like the driver who took us back to Colombo), and our TukTuk driver Amal, who showed us all around town and was very kind and considerate. Ella itself is a wonderfully vibrant town with lots of things to do and see, great food options, and beautiful nature. I definitely recommend Ella and if you're visiting, to stay at The Cubes. "

"This hotel is just amazing, the views from the rooms is second to none. The service is so good from the minute you arrive, they welcome you and make you feel at home. The beds are super comfortable & the amenities are great. Location is perfect as it’s right by little Adam peak and not far from the Ella town. One of our highlights was going up Adam peak & Ella rock with the in house naturalist - Gaya. He was absolutely brilliant and helpful in not only guiding us, but also showing us all the natural wildlife in the area along the way. He was so helpful and kind, and we would recommend anyone going for one of the excursions with him!"

"We stayed at Jetwing Yala for three nights and had an amazing experience overall. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a stunning pool that’s perfect for cooling off in the heat. Even though Yala National Park was closed for the first couple of days, it was still lovely to relax around the hotel and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The location is incredible, right on the beach. You can even join an early morning walk with the lifeguard, which was such a nice touch. The staff throughout the hotel were genuinely lovely and always happy to help. One of the absolute highlights was the wildlife. A bull elephant visited the hotel twice during our stay once at night and once in the morning which was honestly the best experience ever. The naturalists were always present, making sure everyone was safe, answering questions, and sharing so much knowledge. We did a half-day guided safari organised by the hotel and would definitely recommend going with a guide. Even though we didn’t see a leopard, the naturalists and jeep drivers were so dedicated and made the experience amazing. We saw baby elephants, crocodiles, deer, and even a sloth bear. They even set off early so we were at the front of the queue entering the park. The food experience was mixed. For the first couple of nights breakfast and dinner were à la carte, and the dishes were exceptional. Later it changed to a buffet, which personally I don’t enjoy as much, as it feels a bit more rushed and less relaxed. Not sure why the "

"By far, best place to stay in Sri Lanka! You have your little bungalow in a picturesque area surrounded by rice paddies, gardens, wild life. The pool is amazing, the food outstanding. The hotel staff is absolutely incredible. A special shout out to Kingsley, Madu and Salini and all staff. They welcome you like a family member. "
