"This was our first visit to Margate and our first stay at No. 42 Guest House, and both exceeded our expectations. No. 42 is truly a fabulous place to stay, with its unique charm, beautiful décor and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel genuinely welcome. The customer service was outstanding – a well-deserved 10/10.
Our room was beautifully decorated. We booked a sea-view room with a balcony, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the pantry, which was perfect for grabbing a late-night snack. The sea view was exceptional, particularly at sunset and in the mornings while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee.
We also booked breakfast, and the food at Pearly Cow was delicious. The staff and chefs were all so warm, friendly and welcoming, making each morning a pleasure.
We had a wonderful two-night stay in Margate at No. 42 Guest House and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. We'll definitely be looking at staying in more Guest House hotels around the UK - in the future.
