"Arrived late, the bar was pleasantly lively, but as I had been driving I unfortunately did not end up going back for a drink as the food was finished serving, granted it was 9pm. Room was nice and clean, everything was there and nice touch with the biscuits and coffee pods, really liked it. Breakfast was fantastic, service was great too. Will definitely be returning."

"The perfect spot to relax and unwind listening to the sounds of the sea. We treated ourselves to one of the balcony suites and were not disappointed. Margate is an interesting mix of old and new but there are lots of places to explore food wise. This is also my first visit to one of the Guesthouse hotels and I would be keen to try the others in the brand. "To be honest it was very loud from the gig place from across the road (Saturday) but it calmed down & it was quiet for the rest of the stay in spir of the house's very central location (& lots of good music in town). I had an issue with the window & appreciated that the hotel owner responded & resolved the situation.The rooms are lovingly decorated & warm, and the bed was very comfy. "

"Basic single room, not very comfortable bed, and i supose ia m not used to the road noise as i was kept awake by the traffic. The positive note was that it was cheap for £ 53.00 P/N. so i am not complaining. You pay for what you get. "

"Staff are overworked. They have to check you in while serving at the bar. We were charged by Expedia and charged a second time when we checked in for the stay. Expedia refused to assist in the resolution, saying we had to work it out with the hotel. "

"Easy to find, clear instructions regarding keys, etc.. Not a huge amount of things nearby, apart from the nice beach. Perhaps a bit expensive for what it is, but in the summer the easier access to the beach must be a plus."
