"Room smelled terrible, like a bad nursing home. Wasn’t cleaned the best as we found trash on the floor under bed skirts. Pool was a waste, barely larger than a hot tub. Breakfast was limited to soupy gravy/biscuits, minimal choice of bagels cereal fruit etc. Not great to say the least. Was forced to stay here with a sports team, would not recommend. "Staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in with Wintress was great. The common areas and the room were very clean and well-kept. I am picky about hotel bathrooms in particular and this one impressed me. It actually looked, felt, and smelled perfectly clean. Everything was bright white and there wasn’t a single mysterious hair to be found. Towels and sheets were fresh. Breakfast was good. "The motel was okay. The lobby is very nice, however the guest rooms could use some updating"

"The rooms were very clean and in good condition. The water was hot in the shower and the AC worked great for a hot week. The breakfast was pretty average for these hotels. Ths biggest issue on breakfast was no knives! someone could have made a trip to a superstore to get them. The pool and ice machines were closed down within 5 minutes of me checking the water temp on the pool. I would stay again but weird things happen!"

"The breakfast wasn't great and it didn't offer many options. But our room had a shower door that didn't close right so water was all over the floor. Our bedside clock kept flashing and we couldn't get it to the actual time. Annoying during the night and the room darkening shade didn't close all the way. Rough night."

"Common areas are more than 3 stars standard but the tub and furnishings are quite bad, particularly on the room that I stayed. Dryer doesn’t work and the tub was icky so couldn’t take a bath after a very tiring day!"

"We were definitely prepared for an older hotel experience but it seems more rundown than we expected, some maintenance overall making sure everything works like the pool & major upgrades on the rooms would go a long way to really making this a more exciting experience to stay at a Route 66 memorabilia venue. "The room and bathroom were very clean. The pool is huge. The hot tub was very very tiny. A small square. On the pool door, they call it 'a spa'. The only complaint we had was the breakfast. There were moldy oranges in the fruit basket. They did not keep up with the hot foods (sausage, eggs,etc). We ended up at McDonald's for a quick breakfast sandwich on the way home. No orange juice. "Staff was friendly, particularly the lovely woman taking care of the breakfast area in the morning. The rooms felt dated. There were some strong odors in the hallways. It was okay for a quick pit stop."
