"Where do I start…. Everything was clean and felt so luxurious. The staff was unbelievably polite, kind, and caring. The grounds are beautiful. The spa is perfect. The amenities are top tier. The food is TRULY farm to table (you can go see the farm on a 5 minute walk if you need proof). Just the perfect weekend getaway. Will definitely stay again, either with a group or just the 2 of us."

"We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. However, the water in the shower and sink had a strong odor that I couldn’t quite identify. "

"The stay at the resort was very enjoyable. If you book through Orbitz, please call the property and make sure they got your reservation. They had not received ours, but fortunately had a room for us. The room was very large and clean. The whole resort needs a general make-over, as the facility is a bit dated and used (wallpapers, paints, windows, door locks, showers, etc.), but you can see that this hotel still has a lot of prestige. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with an omelette...

"Hotel has character...stayed in the portion that dates back to 1766...clean rooms...quiet considering room had in window AC...restaurant was great...terrific server (Padraic)... food was one those fancy presentation but instead great tasting and sufficiently filling"
