"The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The room was spacious but not very clean. There were a few items that were missed. For example a cobweb that was left in the doorway. Some socks and food left behind by previous guests. However, the hotel is located a short walk from a key tram stop and was near several food places. I would say overall we had a good stay and it worked well for our family."

"The staff was very friendly and answered many questions about the hotel and Ghent. They provided a great guide with a map of Ghent - we loved it as it had a summary of each site we visited. There was complimentary water provided. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. "Schone kamer, schone badkamer en wc. Minpunt vonden wij alleen dat het gedeelde badkamer en wc waren, vond dat persoonlijk niet duidelijk aangegeven staan dat zou nog een verbeter puntje zijn. Verder is de b&b erg mooi karakteristiek. Wel zou ik persoonlijk een renovatie aanraden. De wc en buitenkant van de b&b mogen wat liefde hebben. De gastvrouw is een vriendelijke vrouw, en zorgt ervoor dat je een fijn verblijf hebt."

"Aparthotel Castelnou is a delightful place to stay. The apartment was spacious and spotless and had everything you could possibly need. Staff were so helpful, attentive and friendly, including advice on the best way to walk into the city centre. Dinner was amazing and there is a very pleasant small garden for eating outside. I'd thoroughly recommend this as a great place to stay."

"A self service hotel, with pin entry but we had 35m2 room on ground floor and were close to all Ghent highlights. Breakfast available and substantial.Parking we had to figure out, but was available in public carpark 300mtrs away at REEP carpark 36 eu/day."

"The Post and Porter's House is in a great location and is within walking distance of two tram stops. The staff was very friendly and helpful whenever we had a question. The rooms are beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. We would definitely return to this hotel if we are in the area again."
