"We had a fantastic stay at Moonshine! From the moment we arrived, Carol made us feel incredibly welcome and well taken care of. The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, with great attention to detail that really made the experience special. We are visiting South Africa for the first time from Canada on the Garden Route and Carol’s space reminded us of a home away from home. Our 3 kids absolutely loved the pool, the bunk beds, and the hike, it made the trip even more memorable...

"Lovely staff, singling out Carmen and Felicia for special compliments! Food and service were good. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The views from the main lodge were outstanding. The pool was much warmer than our last visit in September 2004! We found Hog Hollow had lost a little of its rustic charm and was more like a hotel. "

"Location was very good close to many restaurants. Safe area to walk. The only complaint we have - the tiny room layout - two single beds occupied most of the room located on at the opposite walls and corners. No place to keep the luggage, we stayed there for two nights and kept open suitcases on the floor next to the bottom of one of the beds, reducing the walkable space in the room even more. The stuff was very friendly and the English breakfast served was good."

"Das Hotel war für ein direkt im Zentrum der Stadt gelegenes Hotel super. Unglücklich empfanden wir, dass die Restauration an einen Dritten weitergegeben worden ist. Man musste das Frühstück quittieren obwohl ausdrücklich mit Frühstück gebucht worden war, Nicht alle Produkte des "buffets" waren inkludiert was hin und wieder zu Irritationen geführt hat."
