"It was a nice and affordable hotel! It's close to shops and close to the beach! There is 1 parking space allocated for you in front of your room and plenty of parking on the street! The driveway is a bit narrow so I suggest parking on the street if you have a big car! We stayed during winter so the beds having an electric blanket was a nice touch! "Place was unmanned so was abit of a hassle to check in rooms very very dated shower leaking badly through the toilet wall. wall and roof paint was terrible the grounds where dirty. old mattresses dump down the side of the building the bath was capped off and only heating was a wherehouse heater for the whole appointment"

"Excellent hotel at Wellington airport. Was so easy to stay and go direct to check in counter for an early international flight. Highly recommend and certainly about time Wellington Airport had this amenity. I could not fault Rydges hotel other than the restaurant closing early."
