Location was near perfect. Our large deluxe room overlooking the canal was a big plus. The train station and the old town were real close. Parking was a walk away and an occasional loud drunk across the canal isn’t the hotel’s fault.

The accommodations were not in the hotel but in an annex which was supposed to be a 2 minute walk from the hotel. That 2 minute walk was more like 10 minutes. I had a suite but it was on the third floor and no elevator but 40 very dangerous winding steps, which I could handle but not getting two suitcases up and down. The hotel does not provide any help so I had to take the two carry ons up myself (very very difficult) if you are in your 80's. Now the unit was supposed to have air conditioning. That did not work and on the last day of my 5 day stay the suite was 85 degrees. When I opened the windows for air, the noise level was terrible and the hotel did warn me about the noise and provided two sets of ear plugs which were in the suite on arrival. The staff at the hotel close to two blocks away were very nice, but the annex suites detracted from the overall experience.

We clearly pointed out to you that because of your booking in the annex building where there is no reception we cannot help you with the luggage either. Therefore we had proposed to change your booking to a room in the main building, you did not want this and then we informed you again about all the necessary information and insisted that it would be better to take a room in the hotel. While we did offer to assist with modifying your reservation to accommodate your preferences, we understand your decision to keep the booking as is. Despite our efforts to provide you with timely and clear information, we regret to read in your review that you expressed a complaint about an issue of which you were aware. We are pleased to hear that you found our staff at the main hotel to be accommodating and friendly. Your kind words will be shared with our team. Really close to the picturesque centre, but also to the station.
Room small but comfortable, especially the bed. Problem with the radiator, which did not always come on. A portable heater was provided, but this was less efficient and a bit noisy. Heating system probably needs a fix.
Otherwise great, I will use this hotel next time I go to Delft.
This is a wonderful small canal-side hotel a short walk from the train station and the sights of Delft’s historic town center.
The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent, with plenty warm and cold options.
Great hotel in historic building. Check in was easy, staff incredibly friendly, room very clean. Looks like there has been recent refresh in bathroom and bedroom. Portable A/C worked great. Bed and pillows comfortable. Earplugs are provided due to outside noise but they aren’t the “strongest” ones available. Be sure to ask for ground floor if stairs are a problem as there’s no elevator. Very convenient to train station and town. Highly recommended and would definitely return.

It was lovely staying at this hotel on the canal with our room overlooking the water.
The staff were attentive and very friendly. We received complementary drinks and snacks to enjoy outside in the seating area of the hotel to watch the beautiful scenery.

In summer you should know there is no AC
The breakfast is okay, but costs more than local restaurants you can walk to.
Room 1 has crazy wiring for lights. It took us forever to turn on just the bathroom light.
Bathroom is very tiny. Get the upgraded rooms, the base one offered is too small.

Good location near Delft station, canals and city centre. Staff were helpful, hotel very clean. Our only difficulty was noise at night, where were these people coming from or going to in the early hours and why do they have to shout?

Fijn hotel, op 5 minuten lopen van het station. Vriendelijk personeel. De kamer was prima in orde, met ook koffie-thee faciliteiten (wel zelf theezakjes mee nemen). Heerlijk geslapen.
Er is geen lift, dus misschien minder geschikt voor mensen die slecht te been zijn of moeite hebben met trappen.
Als ik nog naar Delft ga, zal ik zeker terug voor dit hotel kiezen.

The location is perfect. Close to the train station like a min walk but you dont hear the train at all. Close to all shops and walkable everywhere. Right on the canal so some noise during the day but we were kostly gone. Hot and no air cond. In the summer it would be very hot. Service is not great. They have little knowledge of the town if any. We had to remind them of the perk, then they forgot and give us one bag of chips in compensation. They emailed us later to tell us that we owed bottles of water when we had none. Lovely lounge tho. Breakfast seemed nice but we had a nicer and cheaper one in old town. Also the noise from upstair cleaning in the morning because the walls are not well insonorised. They actually provide earplugs.

They lady checking you in lives more then 10 years in Delft and knows all the inns and outs of the city. However, it's still important for them to be knowledgeable and helpful to assist guests as much as possible. The oversight in forgetting a perk and compensating with only one bag of chips is disappointing. Additionally, the miscommunication about owing bottles of water when you hadn't received any is regrettable.On a positive note, it's great to hear that the hotel has a lovely lounge area and that the breakfast seemed nice. The issue of noise from the cleaning activities upstairs in the morning due to poor soundproofing is understandable given the limitations of a historical building. We provide earplugs to mitigate the disturbance, although ideally, efforts should be made to improve sound insulation for guests' comfort.Thank you for providing your feedback while considering the limitations of the monumental building. Lovely simple, clean hotel in ideal spot in town. Super comfy bed. The staff we met were friendly. Good shower which is always a must in a hotel! Didnt have the breakfast as it was rather pricey plus we were there to see friends who live in town so had lots of other recommendations. It was rather lovely looking out directly on to a canal.
I thought the tea/coffee stuff was a bit mean spirited...only 2 coffee pods for free then you had to buy them...but quite a number of teabags?? Also only 2 creamer sachets...which werent replaced each day, neither were the little biscoffs...such a tiny thing but made a difference....

Hotel is lekker centraal gelegen. Dichtbij parkeergarage. Goede bedden. Geen lawaai van buiten, dus heerlijk rustig. Ontbijt ook prima, alleen een beetje kleine ruimte. Niet geschikt voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn, er is geen lift in het hotel en de trappen hebben hele smalle treden.

Beste Gast,Bedankt voor uw review van het hotel. Het is goed om te horen dat de locatie van het hotel centraal gelegen is en dat de bedden comfortabel zijn. Het is ook fijn om te weten dat er geen lawaai van buitenaf is en dat het hotel daardoor rustig is. Het spijt me echter te horen dat de ontbijtruimte een beetje klein is en dat het hotel niet geschikt is voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn vanwege het ontbreken van een lift en de smalle treden op de trap. Dit kan zeker een nadeel zijn voor sommige gasten. We zullen deze feedback delen met het hotel, zodat ze kunnen kijken of er verbeteringen mogelijk zijn om de toegankelijkheid van het hotel te verbeteren. Bedankt voor het delen van uw ervaring.

Very nice location. Close to train station. Staff fantastic. Only complaint was they turned heat off in afternoon when only 45 degrees outside. Plus no ice.

We only stayed for one night but I wisht we had stayed longer. For someone who's in love with Bruges, Delft feels like a Bruges' identical twin.
Regarding the hotel - it was fantastic. The room was cute and clean with a canal view! The receptionists were really helpful giving us useful tips and preparing our breakfast in advance as we had to leave early the next day. They also gave us a discount to a 3 course menu at one of the local restaurants, which we ended up using and it was definitely worth it.
I'm hoping to come back to Delft next year and I will be searching for this hotel specifically for sure.
