"Rooms were clean property was dated."

"The entire place smelled like marijuana, cigarette smoke, or fragrance to try and cover up the other smells. They are using the hotel for over flow of section 8 housing so there are homeless people all around the property and in the hotel. There were people doing drugs outside the hotel and no staff member did anything about it. I did not stay and asked for a refund where the staff was very dismissive. "Not a cheap place ! Let’s start with the smell - strong marijuana smell, and we were traveling with 11 yers old kid. Not family friendly. The room wasn’t clean, everything outdated. "No front desk at the Overlook. Check-in is electronic. Managers were very responsive to a couple of issues that arose such as hot water issue, a very complicated shower and a smoke detector battery. Very convenient park at your door concept and room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was modern and nice. Our room was actually two rooms, each with a large bed, which was a surprise. "We stayed in the cabin, very spacious, clean, the bed is so comfortable. The staffs in the center are very friendly and helpful."

One thing I would say is make sure you understand the dog fee before you go there there was stores very close for anything you forgot, which made it super convenient. "It's all great, as far as i'm concerned, but one has to know in advance what sort of place it is. It's a mosaic of rustic on the outside, elegant/modern on the inside, quadruplexes, with classic LPs and a turntable in the room. There's no restaurant, fitniess room, etc.. (which their website makes clear.) i loved it, It's in the heart of the village. You'll want to walk to everything, which I enjoyed. When I was there, I couldn't find a place for breakfast the Wednesday morning I left;...

"Very quaint but modern accommodations, very comfortable bed, and the shower is fabulous. The only complaint we had was road noise, which being on the main road is unavoidable. Otherwise, would highly recommend this hotel. Easy access and wonderful place."
