"I really just needed a place to sleep after enjoying the beach and clubs in AC so I didn't mind the place being kind of run down. The first room they gave me had a broken door lock so despite the key card working, the door would not open. They worked quickly to find me another room. However, the second room had a broken AC unit. It was tolerable as it worked more like a fan and blew cool air. The shower had a high pitched whistling sound when it was on so I had to keep the water coming from both...

"The property is well managed and the polite staff is very accommodating. However, a $50 cash deposit is charged to borrow any one of the following: a beach tag, a beach towel, or a beach chair. Also, the rooms have a cooking area, but $50 is charged if the dishes are not washed and put away. There is a mini dishwasher in the room, although no supplied dishwasher detergent. It was particularly nice to have a covered parking lot attached to the hotel while visiting during a heat wave."

"I was pleasantly surprised by how much space was in the condo. The bathrooms were plentiful and spacious. Offered plenty of linens. Location was great with the proximity to the center of everything. "Steps from ocean pier with rides, games and food. Beach bar across the street. Terrace at Hard Rock has great views of the Ocean. Ventilation system at Hard Rock is good, only smelled smoke when walking past active smokers. Great security at guest room elevators. 24/7 bakery was very nice- they had sandwiches to simple pastries, to grab and go. Awesome collection of celebrity memorabilia. "
