"This is a great location with excellent staff and a fantastic restaurant. The one big suggestion we would make would be to remove the smoker ashtrays from the walls and create a designated area away from the accommodation blocks. We had the mis fortune to have a smoker near us who walked up and down smoking outside the rooms with the smoke coming into our room each time. "Given the location, most of the clients of the hotel seem to be people in the mining industry, so the hotel doesn't have a "tourist" vibe. The town itself doesn't offer much more than for an overnight stop, although there is an interesting tour into a major iron mine on some days of the week. The breakfast was quite ample (have to keep miners well fed) and even included omelet on order."
