"This was a nice place to stay. Super convenient location. Was crowded and the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. Only amenity that we really missed was the ability to make coffee in our own room. It was very expensive when we stayed there and so I would have expected better room amenities, but this area is one of the most popular in Iceland and there are not that many options!! I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews online, but none of the issues raised by people in the poorer reviews materialized for us!!"

"Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet at the restaurant was great. My only critique is I wish the coffee machine at breakfast held more coffee! Would recommend!"

"Wonderful stay in a remote part of the country! Excellent access to the Glacier Lagoon and reasonably priced compared with what’s around. Simple accommodation so don’t expect too many amenities - we loved the breakfast and appreciated Ula packaging this for our early departure! Many thanks ☺️"

"The receptionist is very helpful and assisted us finding a parking spot. The restaurant staff are very friendly even when we arrived close to the closure time. The room has sufficient space especially the bath room, unlike the other hotels we stayed before."

"Clean and no frills hotel used during our road-trip through Iceland. Received instructions on how to pick up keys at a different location. We didn't realize that the bathroom was to be shared (knew about the kitchen). Water temperature was confusing as it immediately became extremely hot and then cold if you are not careful."
