"Rooms are big and spacious. Friendly staff. Went downstairs to purchase a water, receptionist offered it for free instead. I’ve stayed at nicer hotels and NEVER do they offer me free water. Usually charged to my room, so it’s nice gesture on the hotel staff. "

"If you enjoy historic properties (and I do), you will appreciate this hotel. I love the high ceiling, brick wall, and antique furnishings. This hotel is downtown McKinney, an area that is THRiVING! Loads of night life, ripped out of a Hallmark Channel movie! "

"Spacious clean room with full size couch in front of the large TV. The bed was very comfortable and had an ample supply of pillows. An improvement could be made about room service. We went 3 days without room service. Granted on of those days was a holiday - New Years, but we should have got room service either on New Years Eve or the day before that. We didn't"

"Great staff, very friendly and accommodating. Good breakfast, but basically the same everyday. A little variety would have been nice. The only complaint is that we left the red hanger on our door for towels and never received them. We had to go to the front desk and ask for them. Overall a very nice place to stay."

"Hot water heater broke so needed a warm place to stay. It looked nice but that's usually not the reality. Pleasantly surprised. Rooms are large with vaulted ceilings. Looks new. Breakfast is amazing. Also get 3 drinks & snacks for free daily in evening. Stayed an extra day just because I am enjoying myself so much!"
