The building is an important historic site, as it is said to be the oldest shopping mall in the world. At the same time, the arcade is a monument to contemporary style; many of the most famous contemporary designers have flagship stores at the Galleria. Spend an afternoon shopping, drop by for a drink after a local concert or simply come to admire the 19th-century architecture.

Santa Maria Delle Grazie is best known for housing one of the most important works of art in history, Leonardo Da Vinci’s The Last Supper. This cavernous church is one of the most revered cultural sites in Italy, as recognized by its identification as a World Heritage Site. The Last Supper is housed in the church refectory.
