Quiet place to sleep close to town

No hand soap by sink. Conditioner and body wash in shower but no shampoo. AC missing vents, door warped and no seal. Bathroom light and fan kept turning on and off during use. Lady who checked me in was very friendly and explained the two TV remote system too. Office was locked when I checked out, so I assumed no coffee or breakfast. Pool was small but clean.

The desk staff was very professional and courteous. They were able to find me a room even though OYO had canceled my reservation due to overbooking on their part and for that I was extremely grateful. I’ve stayed at this hotel many times in the past and had never been canceled until OYO became part of it. A previous group had been given the same news about their reservations before me and were very ugly about it. The desk staff behaved very professionally and never raised her voice despite profanity and verbal abuse from the aggrieved before they stormed out. So basically I would give the hotel staff 5 stars and OYO -1.

Positive: The property was well updated and clean. The staff were very friendly, funny, and tried to be helpful. The parking lot was well lit. Other than the below negative, I would recommend staying here. Negative: Had to pay $15,00 more than I was quoted when made the reservation. Inquired about the extra charge and received indirect answers. Asked for an itemized receipt and was informed that it was unavailable. I see this as a very poor business practice.
