"I arrived and the owner wasn’t expecting me even though I had booked earlier that day through Expedia. The room was fine, hard mattress but I like that. A bit outdated and hard worn sheets but I slept really well. I asked about dinner and the owner said yes 7:30. "Parts of the hotel were lovely. Room & beds were clean. Bathroom was tired. Sink was missing a leg and there was a lot of debris in the base of the light above the mirror. Very helpful and kind staff. Private closed parking was very useful."

"This was a great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. It only gets a 4 out of 5 because there was no a/c and if we used the kitchen there would have been an additional charge, which we were not aware of. Otherwise, it suited us perfectly. Very clean and comfortable."

It was very clean but basic/ yes the furnishings are a little dated but the views and countryside and of course price more than made up for it- we visited the chateau de montjoffroy nearby it was great and we also loved the continental breakfast which included vegan options."
