"I highly recommend Oakwood Residence! The staff are friendly and welcoming, the rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel is in a great area. It’s also close enough to the heart of Hanoi to easily explore the city while still being in a quieter area. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again!"

"I've stayed at Somerset/ ascot properties before. The check in was easy, the wifi was nice, the staff gave us a tour and showed us to our rooms when it was ready. The room we were given was very run down and old. The property itself looks very nice and new, the room however could use some updates. Yet the basics were there. "I arrived at the hotel close to midnight. While the check-in process was quick, the room I was assigned was in very poor condition, it appeared dirty and had a strong, unpleasant odor, similar to a humid, sweaty smell.
The breakfast was also disappointing, as the food tasted artificial and of low quality.
I have stayed at this hotel before in 2025, but unfortunately, my experience this time was extremely disappointing.
