"Great location. Need professional staff and convenience breakfast look like it is for homeless people . Their was no fruits, Danish or water. The juice tasted old and the bread look old. I love staying in the comfort inn but thus I did not feel safe at. In the room we had no tea bags or makeup remove pads. "Blythewood plantation is a wonderful historic mansion set in a small quaint excellent town. Lloyd met all of our needs, the room was clean, and all furnishings were correct for the time period that the home was built. The grounds were well maintained, we even got the pleasure of witnessing a gorgeous wedding during our stay!! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to step out of the hustle and bustle of modern times and take a trip to a much simpler day and time!!!!"

"We stayed at this hotel based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately our experience did not match the ratings at all. The property felt very worn down overall. There was visible wear and tear throughout the hotel, including the lobby furniture and the room furnishings. One of the biggest disappointments was the gym. "The Microtel Inn in Ponchatoula, LA, said that Expedia never paid them for my stay May 18th-19th due to a "glitch" and claimed to cancel my reservation then tried to get me to pay them directly, but it didn't show up in Expedia and somehow was modified to the 17th which I didn't book. So, it still charged me so I had to dispute it with bank. Nasty outside propery, sketchy clerks. Awful service and I don't think they were telling the truth at all, I think they were trying to get me to pay twice...
