"I was terribly disapointed with this hotel- I was really looking forward to staying here, but...the property really let me down. Just so many negatives to list ( and I am NOT generally a complainer!). The room was VERY small and dated, they only had TWIN beds in the room, couldn't get the air con to work, the pool wasn't open, couldn't get a coffee anywhere and the restaurant was closed, I fell in an open sewer grate off the driveway, they jammed the few guests into one small area on the same area of one floor ( so noisy at times ), the entire property was really run down and in need of much work, the room price was VERY high for what you get, the hotel is a LONG was away from coffee, downtown eateries etc.
I don't think the manager was very attentative, in fact he walked right in front of me to get through the door as it opened without an "excuse me", "hello" or anything!
I would not recommend this hotel for it's price, condition or location. "

"The motel itself is cheap and cheerful, but the people who own/run it are amazing! Very friendly and helpful. The view from our room was outstanding - one of the few places in Nova Scotia you can see a sunset over the ocean!!"
