Great room with cooking facilities inside which was appreciated although I didn't need to use, lady on the front desk was lovely and helpful. Good location in Timaru close to the beach
I enjoyed my stay at Anchor Motel. My room had everything I needed for 1 night stay. Bed comfortable. Kitchen had what i needed. Toilet /shower space was small. Staff were great. And the Cat Honey, was a delight.
Good victorian style building in nz's least famous seaside town. Came with electric blankets and heaters and it was a good toasty stay in a cold damp country.
Very nice small cabin with private bathroom, TV and comfy bed. There was a fridge, mic.owen and TV in the room as well as heating and heated matress. Everything I needed for a good one night stay in Timaru. Plus the staff was extremely nice and helpfull!!!
Very friendly check-in. The lady at reception was very nice and helpful with our questions being our first visit to Timaru.
Walked to the lighthouse then to the penguins. Returned late at night and had an awesome sleep in a very comfortable warm bed. The room is not fancy but perfect for the price and you just need somewhere to sleep.

If I was a large person I wouldn’t be able to use the bathroom / toilet / shower comfortably…. a camper van would have more space.
