"Room smelled like smoke. Staff never at front desk."

"The outside is a little rough looking which originally made me question the initial booking. However once inside and in my room I was very pleased with the cleanliness, the quality as there were no scuffs or any damage from general usage. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bedding was very nice. "

"We had originally booked a 2 queen bed room with a roll-in accessible shower. When we checked I. We were told that the room should not have been allowed to be booked because that shower was broken. We have a son in a wheelchair so this was very inconvenient. They gave us a different room with a step in shower but they didn't even have a shower chair. The room was clean, but not very wheelchair friendly."

"This hotel is my family's favorite place to stay when we come to Rockford. The staff has always been incredible, friendly, and professional. The rooms are different from any other hotel we've stayed in. We always stay in the suites and my wife and I sleep upstairs and our son sleeps downstairs. The amount of charm and uniqueness is what will always bring us back. The pool is smaller but there is a pool. Same with the gym but these aren't things that are too important for us. "

"Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean but showed age and wear and tear. The towels were clean but stained/yellowing. The pool was dirty with a lot of things floating and on the bottom, so we did not feel comfortable swimming."

"Pool was okay, it was a bit dirty. The kids wished there was something more to do in it. The breakfast wasnt good, bread was stale onlything ok to really have was yogurt and waffles. Also stunk like weed.. seems like someome tried covering up the smells with frebreeze. "

"Stayed here about 4 times over the past 9 months. Always clean and comfortable. For simplicity that is the cheapest but still very comfy and clean I'll come back again soon. They offer a free continental breakfast, but I have yet to check it out. I stay because they are almost half the cost of Holiday Inn and for me just as comfy. "

"Clean room, staff was great with cleaning cycle daily, Shops close by within minutes, Restaurants/Bar within walking distance, Hot-tub, Swimming Pool, Staff is so friendly and kind! Breakfast was amazing and had something for every kind of eater! A great stay!!!"

"Food smelled fresh, but I had no time to eat as I had to get to work. Parking was safe. I was able to park close to the front door and under a light. Staff was great. I called the front desk kind of late to complain about kids running up and down the hallway and slamming doors on 2 & 3 and it was handled. Room was very clean and I was impressed it was cleaned between my 2 night stay. Bedding was very comfortable."
