"The common area and room were very clean. The bed was comfortable and linens were great. I especially liked how quiet it was late at night and early morning. Towels could be softer but were acceptable. My grievance is with the breakfast. I felt sorry for the breakfast staff as they were frustrated with the tools they were given but tried very hard to help several customers. One of the two toasters was broken. The other was a two-slice toaster which was not meant to be used as often as is needed at a hotel and did not work well with bagels. The plexiglass "drawer" that housed the bread, bagels, and muffins was also broken, and broken shut. The attending staff was forced to apply full strength to unjam the drawer. She deserves better tools to work with. The food was sufficient and the coffee was very good. Ownership needs to suck-it-up and provide first rate tools if you want first rate reviews."

"Check-in was great when we got to the room the room smelled like molded carpet. There was bottle caps on the floor behind the chair. There were something on the floor that my dog picked up at eight. There was cobwebs on the light and on the wall we went to walk the dog there was no courtesy dog bags luckily we had our own and you had to watch your walk because without having bags people were just letting their dog go anywhere they want"

"The property is always in great order. The room did need the carpet cleaned which is unusual. The staff are always nice and the breakfast staff are very accommodating. We stay here on our yearly trek north."
