Top Chania Hotel Reviews

Elysia Boutique Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"It was an amazing stay. Everything felt thoughtfully designed, with real care put into every detail. The materials, the layout, the atmosphere, all of it came together in a way that felt calm, intentional, and genuinely beautiful.
You can tell this is a place built with love for design. Nothing felt random or overdone, just well chosen and well executed.
The breakfast really stood out. It takes traditional Greek cuisine and elevates it in a way that feels both authentic and refined. Easily one of the highlights of the stay.
There is a special energy to the hotel, especially knowing it is in its first year. It already feels like a place that will become very popular, and I would not be surprised if it becomes hard to get a room in the future.
Very grateful to have experienced it so early."

Casa Delfino Hotel & Spa

SanSal Boutique Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Air con was great and parking was right outside the hotel so perfect for convenience. All staff were super helpful and our best stay of the 9 days in Greece. Very clean room with amazing view."

Hyperion City Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Front desk staff were outstandingly friendly and helpful."

Cretan Dream Resort and Spa
8/10 Good
"We had a good stay overall, with a few things worth noting.
The staff were excellent. Petros handled a leak in our room brilliantly and upgraded us to a suite while it was fixed. The bar staff were also very attentive and friendly.
The main downside was the spa setup. For a hotel marketed as a 5* hotel and spa, it was disappointing that all facilities come at an extra cost. The sauna and jacuzzi require a private booking (30 minutes, €25–30 per person). The jacuzzi was also only lukewarm and only seemed to heat up towards the end, which goes very quickly.
It was also a shame the indoor spa pool was closed. I understand this is no longer advertised, but it would have made a big difference, especially in bad weather.
That said, the massages were excellent and worth the €50–60 per person.
The hotel is a mix of old and new. The older side shows wear, with stains on couches and cushions, but the beds were comfortable and housekeeping was great. The suite was lovely. I would recommend paying extra for newer rooms in the spa building.
Breakfast had nice touches like local honey, also given as a check-out gift, but vegetarian options were limited. Indoor seating can be tight in colder months.
Overall, great service but not quite a 5* spa experience."

Domes Zeen Chania, a Luxury Collection Resort, Crete
10/10 Excellent
"One of the best breakfast buffets we’ve experienced traveling."

Nostos Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The room was exactly like the pictures. Staff was friendly. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We loved our stay there."

Porto Veneziano Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very helpful staff and great location on the waterfront. "

Kydon, The Heart City Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is truly in the heart of the city. Everything was walkable to everything. I wish we had stayed here longer!
We booked the family suite and it truly was incredible. They had a PS5 with limited games, but what a nice feature to keep the kids busy. And having two bathrooms was great for 4 people. Plus there was a sofa bed so you could fit 5-6 people. Welcome treats were provided which was a nice touch.
Staff were incredibly helpful. Breakfast buffet (included when we went) was a mix of hot and cold items which was amazing. And the gym was amazing! It had so many machines and a small
space for floor work.
We only stayed one night but well worth the price!
