I have a service dog which travels with me. When I checked in the staff insisted that I was going to be charged per Hyatt pet policy. After arguing wifh him and explaining the Disability Act of the US government, he was still insisting I would be charged. He was rude and I contacted Hyatt. He finally relented and did not charge a pet fee for my service dog. Hyatt staff need to be educated. I will never stay at Hyatt again.

We have enjoyed many nice stays at Hyatt Place hotels and chose this one because it claimed it had a great view of launches at Kennedy Space Center. Our "launch view" room offered no launch view and little else to recommend it. The night/weekend desk clerk (Miguel I think) was rude and unhelpful. He refused to give us a receipt because I booked through Expedia, and couldn't be bothered to answer our questions. The "launch view area" was kept locked until a short time before the launch so a crowd gathered in the hallway. On the plus side, the breakfast was nice, and the staff in the breakfast room was very kind and helpful. Otherwise, choose the nearby Courtyard Marriott. This Hyatt Place has little to recommend it.

To start with the positive the property has a nice viewing area on the 5th floor to view the space launch, and the parking was easily accessible, location is good if planning to go to KSC in the morning. The room itself had clean sheets, but the carpet had several brown stains in multiple places. When complained to front desk a different room was offered which also had several stains on the carpet, due to late hour decided not to check a 3rd room, no compensation was offered of any kind, and the morning front desk person reaction to the issue when she asked about our stay was "oh...". The breakfast options where limited compared to other hotels of the same type (no pancakes or hash-browns). No complementary tea or coffee in the evening. If you have othet options I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

This property was very nice. It looks relatively new. Our room was clean. We liked the small sectional couch. The beds and pillows were comfortable. This would be nice for a family. The staff was friendly, kind and helpful. We appreciated the breakfast choices. The only thing would be to add some creamer options for the coffee (French vanilla and hazelnut).

We loved that the property looked new, was clean everywhere we looked and that the staff was very pleasant! We didn't like that the breakfast buffet didn't have vegan options like fruit and that they didn't refill items like the yogurt, which was provided in a large bowl instead of individual containers.

The hotel was nice and the staff nice and courteous. I have 3 stars due to the room I was in, on first look it was nice, but first thing I notice was the hand soap was open and used, and a used hand towel was on the hook; the freezer/fridge did not work and melted my ice cream and popsicles. I was expecting to get a shower with a bathtub, I like soaking, but I received a walk-in shower, and the sliding door between the bathroom sink and the shower and toilet did not lock or work. The room seemed to always run hot, and when trying to adjust the a/c it was too cold. It would have been a better stay if provided a room with things that worked, but I was grateful to have a place to lay my head everyday.

The hotel and staff were great. Check-in and out were a breeze and they stay was amazing. The breakfast was really good and helped us get the day going in the right foot. Definitely coming back when I'm in the area.

Great place to stay when visiting Kennedy Space Center (10 mins by car). Lovely hotel, very clean and smart, good sized room for 2 adults / 2 kids for one night. Breakfast options reasonable and plentiful. Would happily stay again.

I was unhappy that my room did not have a microwave or a freezer. I had to go down five floors just to use the microwave. I thought the kitchen staff in the morning was rude. Front staff very helpful.

Very nice looking hotel, well kept. Best thing was the staff. They were very nice and friendly. The only negative would be that there is nothing around close to it and we had to spend a lot of money on uber to get around.

Stayed for a night to go to Kennedy Space Centre. Easy check in/out. Pool was fun for the kids. Beds were comfortable. Didn’t get to try the restaurant, but the space was nice.
