"Nous y avons posé nos valises pendant près de deux semaines et nous avons adoré. L'endroit est superbe, très propre, idéalement situé. Les gens qui y travaillent sont d'une grande gentillesse. Dos Mares markets itself as a barefoot luxury experience, but guests should know what that means in practice before booking.
The staff was genuinely friendly and accommodating. However, the property feels absolutely underprepared as a hotel. Rooms are minimalist to the point of lacking basics: no seating, no TV, no safe, and no in-room WiFi — only available in the hallway, which is a significant issue for anyone needing to work remotely.

"This is the most amazing experience and stay that I have ever had in my life! The hotel is family owned small boutique establishment in the middle of the jungle. Surrounded by beautiful untouched nature, the amazing cenote and the absolutely phenomenal hospitality of the owners! The cenote is breathtaking and worth visiting! "Nuestro viaje a Espita fue con una bebé de 11 meses y nos trataron muy bien. Las chicas de la cocina nos apoyaron mucho para la alimentación de nuestra beba. El personal del hotel siempre estuvo atento a lo que necesitábamos. Nos hicieron sentir en casa, siempre al pendiente y con mucha calidez en su trato. Especial agradecimiento a Higinio que siempre al pendiente de nosotros. Lo disfrutamos mucho. El hotel muy bonito. Lo recomendamos ampliamente."
