"Checking in was super easy. The person at the desk was very helpful. We were going fishing and they said we could just leave our car there which was great. The description of the room was understated. It wasn't fancy but it was clean and tidy. There were towels, a small refrigerator and microwave. I would stay again."

"I stayed in cabin 15. It was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen had all needed appliances and dishes, bathroom had all amenities, bedroom was cozy and porch had two chairs to relax outside. A short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. I would recommend and will go back!"

"Staff needs better communication with customers. Didn't get my entry code until 1 hour before I was suppose to check in. Was in limbo. The staff needs to take a class on public speaking. Very lackadaiscal on the staff, please try harder!!!"

"I absolutely loved my stay at the Moby Dick! I really appreciated the old-time charm and cozy, nostalgic feel. The grounds and surrounding scenery are absolutely beautiful, making it a peaceful place to slow down and enjoy the coast. What makes it even more special is knowing that staying here helps support marine research. That alone makes me even more excited to come back. If you're looking for a quaint, unique place with character and heart, I highly recommend it. I'll definitely be staying...

"We had to get FOUR spiders out of our room. Not sure if it’s just the season here but we’ve never had that issue at any other hotel we’ve stayed at before."

"We had a 1 bedroom cottage and it was perfect for 2 people. If 4 people were to stay in their 2 bedroom cottage, which happen to view, the 2 bedroom cottage appears to only have a 3/4 bath downstairs and only a wash bowl upstairs. Without having a second toilet upstairs, that could be an inconvience for 4 people. Otherwise, everything was very good."

"Room was clean and comfortable; however, no way to the beach due to deep mud and mosquitoe activity. Sketchy wi-fi accessibility and no phone access. :("

"We stayed in #1 which has two queen beds. One bed is in a separate bedroom, which includes an electric fireplace. It had a small kitchenette with a two burher stove top, regrogerator and plenty of kitchenware. The room is near the main road to Westport, but there still wasn't much traffic noise. I would stay there again."

"We have nothing bad to say about our stay here. They thought of everything...not a detail was left out. It was the most comfortable, cozy place to stay. There was enough room for all of us and the kids loved the ping pong. Communication was perfect and pricing was too. We have another getaway booked at this retreat in summer because we loved it so much. If you want the most relaxing stay....stay here!!!"

"Such a beautiful home with comfy beds in every room. Loved that we were able to use the items they had to play at the beach comfortably, board games stocked and DVD player upstairs in the game room. Right on the lake was fun to sit near the fire and watch the boats go by. Bugs didnt come out till it got dark so pack your bug spray for night. Overall 10/10 definitely want to stay here again "
