"the room 3 although a lovely clean room the window is starting to fall out see photos The Quality of food on such a very Busy evening was fantastic see photos The bar/Restaurant staff Amazing under the 2 big parties and a very busy Restaurant We would like to say a very big thanks to Jo she was outstanding in every way We did have a problem with Reception the lady that checked us in was very condescending and told fibs When we got to the bar we where told the 7.30 reservation was changed to 6.45 I disputed this and was told Reception had informed me of this wich I disputed I went to ask the lady on reception and she informed me she had told me on the phone the night before I asked her did she speak to me and she said "Yes " I informed her my wife had made the Restaurant booking not me This morning when we checked out I told her about the window and also about the conversation last night this time she changed it to she told me that I was told when I Booked in She didn't. Holiday Inn Cardiff City Centre by IHG

10/10 Excellent

The hotel is in a prime position. Directly opposite the castle and the magnificent Bute Park. Also, within easy reach of the excellent shopping areas."

Hotel Indigo Cardiff by IHG

8/10 Good

"Good hotel, very central. Staff were really welcoming and helpful. Hotel is down an old Arcade off Queen Street. Breakfast was up in the restaurant which was a lovely light filled space. Many rooms have windows but a frosted so no views due to position I guess. Overall great for a short stay."

Delta Hotels by Marriott Swansea

10/10 Excellent

"One night stay that was excellent. Helpful and professional check in staff, Very clean room and amenities. I used the gym and that was in very good condition. My only comment would be that as a solo female traveller I was offered a table on the bar at breakfast 'as it was quieter'. I don't think it was deliberately meant in any way to be segregative but it didn't feel comfortable being asked. Of course I declined. Otherwise great stay as always."

Village Hotel Cardiff

10/10 Excellent

"All the staff were so friendly. The bar staff especially Phil were excellent. We were there for an 80th birthday. My wife lost a bracelet we asked at reception in the morning and the lovely lady on reception said she would look inn the safe... unfortunately nothing. We went to look in the room where the party was held but it had already been cleaned. A lovely young lady named Erin asked could she help, we explained what had happened and she said that a bracelet had been found and had been put into one of the bottle bags that Alan had received for his birthday. We told the lady on reception this, she then phoned Alan for us and he said he was aware of the bracelet and would return it next time we meet. Absolutely brilliant place."
