Communication with the landlord was excellent with all our questions answered promptly. There was even a special surprise waiting for us upon our arrival. "Incredible location and great value for money - our room was nice and comfortable. Two main things let the stay down - first off, there was a horrible smell in the hallway when we first arrived, which had spread into our room. Everything was fine after we aired it out, but we had to hold our breath whenever we left the room. Secondly, when checking out the receptionist was very rude. Didn't even look at us when we walked up to the desk, just said "bear with me" and carried on working on the computer for a couple of minutes before turning to face us. Everyone else we spoke to were very nice."
