It‘s raining in to the studio

Basically, the studio was fine, it was clean and the service was good. Unfortunately, it rained in during a stormy night, we woke up in the middle of the night and water was dripping all over the TV and all the electronic devices. I found this very dangerous, especially for the children. When I contacted the studio management, they were concerned, but no immediate action was taken. I asked for a refund, but they simply stopped responding. Therefore, not recommended!

Clean and authentic old world italy No beach access to lake unless u take a ferry and then if you do take a ferry you have to walk very long way or pay a hundred Euros for 4 people to sit down at the beach...Como is way to crowded...way to expensive to really enjoy...Torno is cute but micro sized and nothing to do but eat and drink

Torno is a very nice little village, but not a car friendly place at all. Also the apartment is not easy to find, as in a lot of streets and alleys there is no street names. Google doesn’t help much either. But what really upset me was that nobody picked up the phone first 1h before arriving (as we agreed just a couple of hours earlier on the phone) and then, most annoying, when I arrived to tell me where to go with the car and where the apartment was. I lost 40 mins walking in the village (it’s mostly steps, no roads), trying to fins the apartment; also some of the locals I found could not help me. I had to leave all the time my wife and my small daughter in a wrongly parked car next to the main road… Needless to say how angry I was then Luckily, and by coincidence, I found Luca, the person sent by the agency who was supposed to check us in, who was also looking for me (he was not the person who was supposed to pick up the phone) who kindly explained all he had to. The apartment it’s nice but cold; typical of an old house, probably more enjoyable during the hot summer months. IF (IF) you find a parking spot it would be somewhere up where the main road is, and you’ll have to walk up and down the stairs to the little harbour nearby. Keep this in mind when thinking of bringing big suitcases with you

Beautiful quiet town in Como area where hustle and bustle are prominent. Luca is a great host offering a full introduction to the property and surrounding area. If looking for quiet evenings on Lake Como this is the place.

Yes parking is difficult but once you are parked you don't ever need to move your car as you have direct access to a ferry port and can travel to virtually any town that borders como di lago. Absolutely incredible experience seeing this beautiful and quaint corner of the world I highly recommend this stay for anyone who wants to have an authentic Italian experience

Wonderful hosts - Luca was generous with his time and helpful suggestions. As with any Italian adventure, we had a short power outage but it didn’t dampen the spirit of our 2 weeks in Torno and the surrounding area.

The location was quiet until early morning due to construction immediately around the building. Commutation proved a bit complicated due to cell service and we struggled to be able to get access to the area place. Plan for a fairly steep walk down and up to the road as it is on the shore of a lake.

The town was practically deserted while we were there. We didnt realize when booking that most things would be shut down during this time. Also, the fact that the ferry boat dock was under construction and we couldn’t get a ferry made it very difficult to get around. We were sort of disappointed in this. Nothing was open nearby. The rental unit was wonderful, however access to it was VERY DIFFICULT …this should be mentioned to people because it could make a HUGE difference in if they are physically able to stay there or not.

Horrible du début jusqu’à la fin ! 1. Nous sommes arrivés à 20:00 ayant prévenu l’organisme. Le soir, j ai reçu un lien m indiquant de payer 40 euros pour arrivée tardive ! Sur le site c était bien noté arrivée jusqu’à 21h. A aucun moment ont été noté ces frais sur le site. Après une demande d’explication à l’organisme, les échanges ont été très houleux. 2 le site indique la possibilité de parking, mais cette option ne s'est pas avérée réelle lors de notre séjour. Nous avons eu beaucoup de difficultés pour trouver un stationnement. En nous baladant, nous sommes tombés par hasard sur leur parking qui était vide ! Voir photo jointe 3. Il n'a pas jamais ete mentionné non plus que l'accès à l'appartement était complexe et inaccessible en voiture. Il vous faudra escarper des ruelles pentues pendant plus de 10 minutes avant de trouver les logements et tout cela en portant les valises. Bon courage !! 4. ⁠le site expose de nombreuses photos sans préciser qu elles correspondent à plusieurs appartements. Notre choix était basé sur un logement avec des pierres apparentes dans la chambre. Nous n’avons pas eu du tout le logement choisi. Nous ne recommandons pas du tout cet établissement. La communiCation à été agressive tout le long de notre séjour. Nous remontons tous ces problèmes à assistance Hôtels.com. C’est inadmissible.

Good location BUT, Terrible apartment

While the location of the apartment (Tremezzo) is convenient, situated 1 minute away (walking) from Torno's port and 4 minutes away from the city center, there was a lot of disappointing problems: 1. Reaching the place was a hassle. No cars reaches anywhere near the apartment. You need to walk along with your luggage for at least 4 minutes. (including stairs) 2. The owner did not meet us, he just sent us few VERY unclear directions through WhatsApp. We called him and he was able to direct us to the apartment after at least 10 to 15 minutes. At some point we felt that we are playing "Escape the Room". (Believe me you don't want that while carrying your luggage after a long flight) 3. Extremely high humidity in the apartment. On the second day of our stay, the bedsheets and the bed itself turned out wet, we had to blow-dry the cushions with a hairdryer to be able to sleep. Also, the overall smell of the apartment is not good, too humid. 4. The bathroom is old and doesn't feel clean. In addition to that, it's very small, and the shower is somehow open, so all the water goes out on the ground. 5. We asked the owner at 8:30 PM for some extra toilet papers, extra towels, and a replacement for the wet pillow cases (mentioned in point 3), he said that it's late and they cannot provide it until next day. 6. A lot of weird insects lives inside the apartment! 7. The couch was not very clean. To conclude, stay away from this apartment.

En skøn lejlighed, kun med bittesmå anmærkninger

Vi havde et skønt ophold i lejligheden og Luca der tog imod os var meget hjælpsom. Vi var der i april og underetagen var meget kold og havde svært ved at blive varmet helt op, men der var mulighed for at sætte mere varme på, med elektriske varmere. Renligheden var fin, men der lå beskidte klude fra rengøringen i rengøringsskabet og støvsugeren fungerede ikke, så vi kunne ikke selv gøre rent, da vi den ene dag havde brug for det og det var lidt ærgerligt for den samlede oplevelse. Heldigvis var det samlede indtryk af området, byen, lejligheden og den venlige vært mere end godt, og vi vil til enhver tid booke denne lejlighed igen, næste gang vi skal til Torno.

Torno on Lake Como

We had a wonderful time in Torno, Como, and on the lake. We visited Cernobbio and Bellagio and had a great time. Our place was very comfortable, but due to our short stay we were not able to use all of the amenities available.
