However, problems with leaking shower, towels not delivered and lack of storage space for luggage, clothing and significant problems with parking dampened the experience. The town of Bunyola is quiet, safe and friendly as well as close to west-coast experiences on the island. Was great fun to be there during the '26 World Cup -- could really feel the pride of everyone!"

"This is a nice place but our check-in experience at the start of the holiday was awful. We were told our rooms weren’t ready but they would contact us at 3 to give us access to 1 room. By 5 we had no call so went to reception. We got room keys so they had clearly forgotten and we even had to take our weighty luggage to the rooms. Then the keys didn’t work so we had to go back to reception."

Every detail was appreciated, and with only 12 rooms on site, the staff is extremely attentive to every customer. The check-in process was lovely, with a welcome drink and nice tour of the property. "Just had a wonderful week at the Portals Hills Boutique Hotel. The hotel is extremely clean and all the staff are very polite and helpful, they can't do enough for you. The rooms are very well maintained and cleaned spotlessly every day, we had a lovely sea view from the second floor. The hot breakfasts are all delivered to your table, plenty of choice and ample selection on the breads. pastries, fruit etc.. The location is practical and easily accessible by bus from Palma, with public parking nearby and a beautiful cala at a 1.7 km walk away.
