"We really loved this hotel and area. It is important to note that we stayed in a time off season for a wedding. There was limited transportation in the area and it seemed like a spot that didn’t have much going on since they were off season. We felt safe but others described it might have been a more off the beaten path type of location. "Really beautiful place. It’s a historic building that has been lovingly restored by the owner. Great water pressure. The owner and his partner were very friendly and sent us recommendations even though we only stayed one night. Messina is gorgeous so we’ll go back. "Wonderful ambience, quick walk to cruise terminal. Our luggage was lost by Delta, so we were quite late arriving and I felt very sorry for the gentleman who had to wait up (very late) to let us in. "We stayed here for 4 nights/3 days as a mother-daughter trip. Hotel had good amenities, lovely pool area with lots of sun loungers and waking through the apartments you are the beautiful private beach (cost €6 a day to hire a lounger). Staff were great, so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help.
