Balmacara Hotel
We only stood one night during our road trip through Scotland. The view on a clear morning is exceptional. There is a store right next to the hotel. A great place to stock up for your day's adventure. We recommend the mussels at their restaurant!

Mark was a great host and the only drawback was getting there.....I was a rookie to the single track roads and we were in a very remote area....the accommodations were excellent ....quiet, view was spectacular,

Achmore Self Catering
This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Craigard
This little cottage was so cute. It was well equipped with everything we needed for a few days. It was within walking distance to a convenient store that had plenty of food options. Close enough to isle of Skye for some day trips!
