Absolutely amazing stay at Cliffs edge retreat. Me and my wife just stayed there for our honeymoon, and we fell in love with the sheer beauty that you are exposed to while staying at this resort. Staff is helpful, room was in mint condition.

What a lovely place to begin our little tour of the Avalon Peninsula. Wonderful accommodations, staff, views, and easy to get where we wanted to explore. We did not use the kitchen facilities, but they seemed to have all the things one would need.

The location of the property is great for retreat. There is a shortcoming thing though, you have to make reservations in order to enjoy dinner, no walking in dine..

Beautiful location only a short drive from St. John’s. The rooms were spacious and charming overlooking the ocean . We watched puffins from our hotel room. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was steps away. The meal was excellent yet very casual environment. We returned to the café for breakfast. The baked goods were amazing. It was an extremely quiet place to sit enjoy the view and relax..

Cliffs Edge was somehow magical . It is well designed and is beautiful and unique . A hidden gem in my opinion. We had the best stay with a well equipped , well decorated room and we also had a wonderful dinner in the Forager restaurant on site . Will definitely stay again while on the rock !!

Very easy check in the cliff hanger suite is exactly as described with exceptional views an out door large spa and sauna Beautifully appointed inside comfortable bed plenty of towels kitchen facilities it is a case of once you arrive you won’t want to leave overlooking the bay yes whales were spotted from the balcony It’s a must

Absolutely beautiful rooms and location! We loved staying here. Big rooms with stunning ocean views and a comfortable bed. One thing that could be improved is the hallway needing to be sound proofed. If you are staying in the lodge rooms, you will hear other guests and staff stomping down the halls late at night and early in the morning, which woke us up a couple times.

The room was great. It was spacious, clean, and modern. The view of the ocean was amazing. The kitchen supplies were a bit basic. We had the unit right at the entrance and next to the restaurant, so it was rather noisy, in the mornings and evenings, which hampered our relaxation a bit, unfortunately.

We had a wonderful stay here! The restaurant on-site was absolutely delicious—definitely a highlight of our trip. Our room was also spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The only minor downsides were that we wished the property was dog-friendly, and it would have been great if the chairs in the room had footrests for a bit of extra comfort. That being said, the pros far outweighed the cons. We would absolutely recommend.
