"Beautiful big room with king size beds excellent friendly staff "

"Modala was beautiful. There are many hotels in Bohol, but I'm so glad we chose this one. The pool and beach are pristine and quiet, and we loved the shopping area attached to the hotel, with good restaurants, cafes, and lovely shops for souvenirs and handmade jewelry. The hotel restaurant was excellent, and the buffet breakfast was extensive and featured local delicacies from Bohol - something new every morning. The staff were so gracious and accommodating. I would return to Bohol just to stay...

"I absolutely loved the serenity and peacefulness of this place. The villa I booked, complete with a pool, was simply amazing! My family thoroughly enjoyed their stay, and it was so wonderful to see everyone relaxed and happy. The breakfast had a nice variety, which was especially great for my senior-aged parents. While the food could be improved, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Everything else was perfect, and I would happily give this villa a glowing 9/10"

"A beautiful relaxing resort. The landscape of the grounds are so beautiful and well maintained. There is a lap pool which you can walk out to from some rooms. There's also a larger pool with pool bar near. Gorgeous! Rooms are very comfortable. The staff is beyond exceptional! Breakfast daily was very good. My second time here and I'll never stay anywhere else at Alona. The road Into the resort is bumpy and that's an understatement! But trikes, bikes, and cars will come to get you. ...

"Upon arrival we were greated warmheartedly by the staff. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was great as well. During our stay the staff was super friendly and very accommodating and attentive to our needs (e.g. booked tuk tuks, rented a scooter etc. for us within minutes). Overall the experience was great and would definitely recommend staying at the Bathala Resort."
