Comfort Inn & Suites Burnet

2/10 Terrible

"Booked room thru Expedia for last night. Note , I stayed at this same hotel this last Wednesday using the same payment method. Anyway I used Apple Pay on Expedia to pay for room. Arrived at Hotel and desk clerk said I see room is paid for thru 3rd party and asked for credit card for incidentals. I provided my Bank of America credit card with plenty available funds but was told it was declined and I could not be checked in. I have several other cards and offered them but clearly laughed at me and said he could not check me in. I have been a professional traveler for 31 years and have never experienced this level of customer service. Literally had to drive to another town to get booked in a room and completely missed the start and half the event I was scheduled to attend . After contacting my bank it was brought to my attention that he never even ran my Bank of America card. The clerk was just being rude for some unknown reason. I will never forget Comfort Inn for this."

"This cozy motel was a great little place to stay. The room felt comfortable and welcoming, and the bed was especially comfy after a long day of travel. Everything was quiet and relaxing, which made it easy to get a good night’s sleep. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area."
