"This retro roadside motel is located conveniently - 25 minutes from Bethel Woods - is a bit rundown looking on the outside, but the inside has been spruced up with fresh paint and laminate flooring, fresh linens, extra blankets, sufficient towels and washcloths, minimalist decorating style. The windows have been painted shut but the wall AC unit works great. The room is large, beds are comfortable enough, with large walk-in closet, Roku TV, Coffee bar with complimentary k-cups. Amenities are pretty limited; no front desk or ice machine that I’m aware of, and, no evidence of Hot water at the bathroom sink (we didn’t use the shower, so IDK about that.)
I booked through Expedia and received a confirmation email from the property almost immediately, then as promised, received another email with instructions about our room location and the door code for self- check in.
I’d recommend this place for it convenient location in Barryville NY, reasonable value, and level of comfort, but with a few suggestions for property management to address the tepid water, and, consider upgrading the window coverings for better light control."
