"It was a wonderful time. Our only problem was the lack of regular use of the elevator. We were on the 4th floor, didn’t realize that would be an issue when we booked. Everything else was wonderful. Hope we can come back (on the second floor)!"

"Historic and beautifully maintained inn with clean and comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Helpful staff and good food at the tavern housed inside the inn. Centrally located and easy to find. A perfect spot from which to explore Middlebury and the surrounding area while getting a taste of historic Vermont."

"For first-time visitors, the campus can be a little confusing to navigate, but it's easy to get the hang of it after a short time. The rooms are a bit dated, but everything—especially the bathrooms—is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The prices are very reasonable, making it a great value. We stayed in one of the units without air conditioning, and it wasn't an issue at all. The evenings by the lake were cool and pleasant, making for a comfortable stay."
