"We were there on a busy weekend which may have contributed to the room. We were in a connecting room and could hear the television next door.
It is a great location for walking to restaurants and the ferry to Magnetic Island. I was disappointed that we couldn't get a later checkout as we had a late flight."

"I selected this property because the images showed a view of the river, marina and ocean but on check it the room barely had windows so I paid for an upgrade to a room with a balcony that turned out to be about two square meters and looked over the seedy back street on the second floor with no lift. The included breakfast was very limited so I opted to just have a takeaway coffee that I was charged for. The staff was pleasant and that is the best thing I can say, unfortunately."

"There were cracks in the sink. Burn marks on the carpet. Curtains hanging off the hooks.
Old and dated.
When I handed my key in in the morning I advised the receptionist of the cracks in the sink and she said yes they are aware of it and they the rooms were privately owned. She was not interested in my feedback.
My sister also booked a room for the same night and same price that I paid, but her room was nicer than mine, walk in shower, table and a chair, queen/king bed, well maintained room....

"The apartments were reasonably spacious, and the beds comfortable allowing for a good nights sleep.
The en-suite to the master was a bit odd. There was no door between the en-suite and the bedroom, and an open window space. The shower was above the spa bath, and had no curtain to stop the water going everywhere"

"The room was lovely, beautiful, smells amazing. Easy access to the pool which I loved.
The staff was amazing! Helpful, polite, prompt in resolving things - bedside lamp was not working, came to replace.
You also need to ask the staff how to connect the TV to your hotspot if you want to watch Youtube / netflix. It is not a given even though it is a smart TV. I think these information could be mentioned upfront to guests, and not wait for them to ask. The initiative would be great.
