"Fantastic motel, easy parking, quick check in and short walk to great fish and chip shop. Even though they were super busy the rooms are super quiet and spacious with no outside noise heard. Well set out with air fryer, fry pan and microwave so you reheat and eat in your room. "

"The Palmer Collective is centrally located in Townsville. It has its own bar and restaurant and this is the highlight of the property. The rooms are quite small, and unless I am mistaken servicing is only changing any towels and making the bed. If it is supposed to include light cleaning of the shower, toilet and basin then this is not done at all. "The rooms were very basic, the door was super thin and I could hear everyone walking past, to the elevator all night. The doors weren’t lockable to ensure a safe environment. The lighting in the room was bad, no bedside lamps or lighting to allow relaxation. Only master ceiling lights that were positioned in odd places around the room. The bed sheets were dirty, with marks on top of the bed when I checked in. It was late at night when I arrived so chose not to raise it with staff due to...
