"Unfortunately, my stay did not live up to expectations. While the staff were friendly, there were several aspects of the experience that left me disappointed. The room was generally clean, but I found a strand of hair on the bed and another by the sink on arrival. Check-in was fine, although the reception area is oddly placed as it shares the same space as the bar, which felt a little unusual. I didn’t try the breakfast because the menu offered a limited selection. The kitchenette was useful...

Staff goes above and beyond and are personable and friendly, even as English speaking tourists. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect mix of made to order hot dishes along with a large spread of buffet items. The best hotel in Hakuba if you want a luxurious and relaxing experience."

"Room is big and clean. The staff is very nice and polite. It's very near the train station, so you could walk to several tourist spots. But it's next to the train track. Although the windows is sound proof, you could still hear it. If you sensitive to noise, this might not suit you. But our family is fine, we could sleep through the night."
