The view from the restaurant, where you also get your breakfast, was a true dream. The old town and the busiest areas of the island are quite far away, so you will have to either take taxis or book a scooter to get around (you can do both of these at the hotel reception). "We enjoyed this resort from the moment we arrived, extended our stay the day after arriving. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Everything we needed was easily accessible. Kayaks, and snorkels provided for use, restaurant was great. Everything was amazing. We stayed for 7 nights. Exploring was easy on a scooter, other places we wouldn't even think about driving, but Koh lanta is very chill. A beach front villa is what we had. Amazing! "Beyond PERFECT! We had an amazing stay at this resort. The staff were outstanding from start to finish - friendly, attentive and always willing to accommodate our requests. "The staff are lovely and very friendly. The food we had was nice. Breakfast was a basic selection, eggs, 2 thai dishes, salad, pancakes, chicken, sausage, pancake, fruit, cereal and cakes. All the restaurants on the island close at 9pm. I think the stretch of beach at the hotel was the nicest we saw. The room was nice and big. Electricity to the rooms shuts off between 10am and 3pm. There is a small playpark. If staying here make sure your boat drops you at Fantasy. Boats stop outside the hotel"

"The location is good. On beach but know that the water is not clear. The staff was quite unhelpful and not friendly. We tried to order at restaurant at 7:50pm and they said “no more, kitchen close” same thing next day… so that was more than disappointing. Also in afternoon at 4pm tried to get ice cream or iced coffee I was told the only thing left was vanilla shake. I did check at front desk and the restaurant/bar was supposed to be open till 9pm.
