"A classic boutique hotel in a great location. Easy walk from the train station. Rooms are spacious with a great view of the Douro River. A great bar with good food. The breakfast is good with decent options."

"We arrived early and a young man checked us in but we couldn’t go into our room yet so we were going to Che k out some of the sites. He helped us and gave us maps and info. He was very helpful. He spoke English and Portuguese and he understood that I was trying to use Portuguese so he was patient. Our room was excellent with a king size bed which we had not had in a long time. It was quiet and didn’t transfer motion. The room was very clean and spacious. We used the pool and loved it. ...

"Beautifully restored property. The staff was great. Although we were greeted by a non English speaker we communicated very well through Google Translate."

"Antonio, Marlena and the whole staff was incredible. We were treated like family. An absolutely beautiful, cozy, romantic place -- very well maintained and super clean. Delicious on-premise fruits, vegetables and wine. And the meals prepared there were ASHMAZING. Could not recommend any more highly."

"This hotel is in a great location. The staff is super friendly. The breakfast buffet is a plus!"
