"This was the worse hotel/bnb experience of our lives and we've stayed in 100s of places. No one was there to greet us. We called and over the phone they told us to go in the house and find a room. The doors were open for anyone on the street to walk in. It was raining and water was coming in thru the open doors which we spent 15 minutes cleaning up. "The apartment itself was acceptable inside, but cleanliness was clearly lacking. The building and surrounding area looked extremely run-down – more like Chernobyl than a vacation property. There was an active construction site directly beneath our balcony, causing constant noise and disruption. Most concerning was the balcony railing: the bars had an approximate 15 cm gap, which is a serious safety hazard for small children – they could easily fall through. This is completely unacceptable.
