"Not a great choice - room was dirty and had to wait for another room , waited until 6pm ?!
Over crowded and also full of children, felt more like a nursery /kids drop off than a hotel. Also car park full and overall staff were not friendly and didn’t really seem to care either "

"Checkin was horrendous. First room was unmade, there was bedlinen lining the corridors & numerous guests were irritated that their room was not ready.
Checkin is at 4 but my room was not ready until.
The bed was very uncomfortable & the room was cold (with a pathetic small oil heater to try & heat it). "

"Room was modern and clean. Bed was comfy.
Hotel is pet friendly. It says the room has a dog bed and dog treats included in the £25 but it didn’t. I would recommend taking your own dog bed. We were a bit disappointed about this.
Breakfast was lovely. Had food in the hotel bar - food was fine for a hotel bar.
Spa was lovely and relaxing - worth a visit.
The overall site is lovely - nice to walk around and visit the bakehouse. Would recommend overall.

"Room was spotless and appeared to have been recently decorated. Unfortunately there were cracks in the sink and the hotel generally looks a little tired.
The hotel staff were amazing … all so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Particularly Aziz at breakfast and the wonderful bartender Mal. He couldn’t do enough for us, moving furniture around and asking us if we wanted any particular music to be played. He really went above and beyond to make my 89 year old mum’s evening. "

"When we got to the room the heating was on full and with the hotel being wooden it was like walking into a sauna.
The bed was a very springy and you needed to hold tight if your wife was turning over.
All in all we wasn’t able to sleep so left at 23:00 to go home. "
