"Very Close to beach walking distance "

"We were in the family room (Room 1) on the first floor. We loved it! The room was very clean and very comfortable with a view of the bay from the living room windows, there are dolphins swimming by on a regular basis, and beautiful Sunset Beach is literally a block away. There were only two downsides I can think of: (1) the pool is very nice but is strictly for lounging---it's not big enough for lap swimming, and (2) the closest place to get a coffee or food is a 20 minute walk. (1) wasn't a big deal since we could swim in the ocean, and (2) wasn't a big deal because we rented a car and there are tons of great restaurants and coffee shops within a short drive. But I think it's fair to say that if you plan to stay here, having a car is necessary. In any case, we hope to stay here again the next time we visit the area!"

"There is no one around the property to help out with check ins. There were at least 3 other parties that arrived we helped out because they had issues as well.There was another property down the street theyowned but like this property no one was there. They do have phone numbers posted but good luck with that or getting someone to call you back. We lucked out with someone working on the roof of the property and they had direct number and general manager came over quickly. We also had problem with a canceled flight due to weather so we were going to be delayed a few days. Got them on phone one time about problems and a few text but no help with that. Said no rooms were available and when I said there were they didn’t respond. The room types we had originally were not available but there were ones we were willing to change too again no help. I need to say we have stayed at this property plenty of times in the past and they were always helpful and friendly. We did not realize they were under new owners and everything has changed. I have to say the only saving grace at this property was the housekeeper Kimmy. She is beyond amazing and the other guests agreed. She is truly the only reason we stayed along with travel friends and the only person to quickly respond to us about anything. She always brought us things upon request .They did change our second room because it had plumbing issues letting me know they were doing me a favor because it was an upgrade."

"The pool closed at dusk. We really wanted to use the hot tub during the evenings...but the gates were locked early."

"Description was accurate- angled beach view, two pools (lovely warm heated) and tiki bar and restaurant! Great to have two bedrooms and space! Right off beach which was fantastic white sand. Downside- lots of families with lots of kids- great multigenerational get away but not a quiet romantic place. "

"Front desk girl was very nice and helpful (sorry, I forgot her name). The hotel is older but nice for the money. Great proximity to the beach and restaurants."

"Everything was excellent and we will be staying again in the future. The only "complaint" we had was that the living room furniture was not comfortable. Very stylish but not comfortable to unwind on at the end of the day."
