The Royal Oak Hotel, Welshpool, Mid Wales
Ideally located to visit Powys Castle on foot, being only 1 mile away, great rooms, clean well maintained, staff very helpful & friendly. Good food selection in the restaurant, lounge bar has a good atmosphere and staff are quick to serve & assist anyway they can.

Clean room. Frirndly staff. Located in a pretty village with lots of shops, restaurants and cafes. Close to Hafren Forest, Elan Valley.

Ty Morgans Apartments
Really nice apartment right in the middle of town. Very comfortable beds and lovely cosy lounge. The kitchen area is also very tidy with all you need to cook for your family. Would definitely stay here again. Only slight downside is the noise from the flats above and below, but this was daytime only ...
