"I was under the impression that this hotel was a 5 star facility but it is absolutely not. It has a lovely lobby and the pre-check-in experience was fine but when I arrived, there was no one around except someone who looked like he didn't even work there. No one came to the door to help with bags, and there was no doorman even though the main wooden doors are extremely heavy to open. The person behind the reception barely looked up, offered zero assistance, and provided no information at all...

"This is my second time staying at Madrona and it is such a gem! The property is stunning and peaceful, the art and decor in the house is beautiful. The rooms are clean and food is lovely."

"The property seemed recently remodeled. The room was small but had everything we needed. It is a 3 story property and there is no elevator. If you have mobility issues be sure to request a room on the 1st floor. Very basic Continental breakfast, cereal, yogurt and bread. There was a waffle maker which was nice and they had a coffee machine that made mochas, macchiatos, mochachinos etc."

Empty upon arrival, called the front desk, the gentleman brought us all brand new bottles, but seemed to get rather upset because my dog barked at him. Stayed for three days, room service didn’t bother to wipe down anything that was accessible and cleared of personal belongings. Breakfast was mediocre. But again, it’s hotel.
