Great location

Great location and beautiful rooms, we started in the serviced apartment side or hotel, staff very helpful, one negative would be the AC wasn’t sufficient for the time of year and something that needs to be looked at for comfort at night

Perfect location inside old town and right next to castle hill. Kind and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast even had scrambled eggs some mornings. Plus I had a great time bird watching especially at Tivoli gardens (three new lifers). A real oasis of calm and beauty.

Check-in was a bit difficult (we had to find out that we needed to go to another hotel close by), but the room was great. A la carte breakfast has its pros and cons for sure, but the food and breakfast area is nice. Parking around is possible, but not easy. Better arrive with public transport.

The suite was very spacious. However, the air conditioners were not adequate despite having all the units on maximum coldness. The upstair bedroom was hot. Staff was very nice and location was excellent. We walked from the cruise port. There are lots of shopping, cafes and restaurants in the area.

Everything was great, location, comfort, kitchen amenities. This is perfect apartment for families in the most centric and vibrant area of Trieste. The weather was not so good that day, so it was a bit cold in the room and it took time to heat up due to high ceilings. I would return to this place, it was fantastic.

Nice spacious Suite in an historic building. Everything has been redone and it is quite comfortable. There's a nice couch and a small kitchen. The bathroom shower was a bit funky- it had all kinds of heads but nothing but the handheld would ever work.

What an incredibly impressive historic building (1907) with updated, modern interiors. Units A and B are across the street from the Continentale Hotel, while units C and D are just around the corner. Staff at the hotel are wonderful, and breakfast is included. Daily housekeeping for the suites. The Palace Suites are incredibly quiet.

You must go to the Hotel Continentale to check in. This wasn’t clear, fortunately we stumbled on a guest being escorted to the Palace and figured it out. The Palace Suite is secured and you need your room and entry door key. The call boxes do not work. We were serenaded by some rowdy sports fans at 1am. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall a good choice.

I thought I was getting a hotel room, granted a Luxury Room by my standards. Apparently it was basically an Apartment, and I liked the heavy iron wrought iron and glass door to get in, made it feel exclusive and very private. The hardest part was finding in I had to basically elsewhere. A little "Check in is at the Continental Hotel across the 'street'" would have been helpful

Overall, we were disappointed by the property. First, it's confusing to find where to check in since its not at the hotel address, finally found it around the corner and across the street. The room is beautiful when you walk in but the A/C was marginal (it was hot in Trieste) and the bathroom is just not functional. Shower has no place other than the floor to put soap and shampoo and it is small, there is only 1 sink with no place to place any toiletries. Breakfast was good not great (not a typical buffet so limited menu choices).

If you have a rental, very hard to get to. Parking is a pain and that’s with the ability to valet. The office to check in differs from the place you stay and is confusing. It’s mentioned in the reservation but the address is not provided. The air conditioning didn’t work well and it stated they had laundry (washer) but our suite/apartment didn’t have one. (We selected it because there was one). This is an apartment not a hotel. Breakfast was not included and over priced. It was fine for one night but expensive.

Gli appartamenti/suite sono belli/e, ma è piuttosto difficile parcheggiare sopratutto per scaricale le valigie dato che l’hotel è in una zona pedonale e ha solo una zona scarico e carico (spesso occupata). Inoltre, non è menzionato che il parcheggio più vicino è a 10 min a piedi dall’hotel e non è così scontato che ci sia posto. L’alternativa è il car valet, con garage dell’hotel. Comunque l’hotel è bello e consigliato.

Very good breakfast and very comfortable room and bed. We did not have in the room bathrobes, but they provided us upon request . Very challenging with parking. Was not very clear in the reservation how to proceed with the parking. They have a valet parking service, but you need to pay 30 EUR.

Det stod ikke tydeligt at man skulle tjekke ind på et andet hotel. Der stod at der var parkering på hotellet - det var der ikke. De kunne tilbyde en service for 30 euro pr dag, hvor ens bil blev hentet og kørt i en ekstern garage. Ellers kunne man parkere i en offentlig parkeringsplads et godt stykke fra hotellet. De taler engelsk men har ikke helt styr på tallene. De sagde 6 euro men mente 16 og sagde 13 men mente 30 euro. Bed dem om at skrive tallene på papir så man undgår misforståelser. Da vi skulle afregne på sidst dag gav de os en forkert regning. Sidst men ikke mindst så var lejligheden beskidt og slidt.
